The story I have chosen is ‘What did the Fish Eat’. It is written by Sara Khalid and illustrated by Ameer Ali. This story is covering a very special and relevant topic of causes and effects of sea pollution. Bilay is the main character of this story who lives near the beach and loves to watch sea animals. One day she noticed that there were so many wrappers and rubbish lying near the beach which made the sea animals sick. She then removed all the dirt with the help of her friends and all the sea animals were back in the sea. I have learnt from the story that we should not throw rubbish near the beach to keep the sea life intact and keep our surroundings clean. I like this story and will recommend it to my fellows.
